AMERICA's DAY ONE: DANCE ROUND THE CLOCK ON THURSDAY JULY 4TH 1776

 YANKEE DOODLE

While the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independance, the multiple peoples living in America danced... not for that great event... but because they loved their ancestral dances brought from over the ocean to the land that will be their land and also their Nation although many of them weren't concerned by  the Independance of the USA in 1776.

Following are AI illustrations of what the different classes of populations danced in 1776. I picked public domain inert images and prompted the animations...

Let's start with the aristocrats and wealthy settlers... however with probably a musical anachronism (°°)Grok's fault 😉:

Rich farmers' dance:

Of course, im 1776 poor farmers also danced! ...and so did slaves! And Indian tribes as well..

Let's finish the first post of this site by a modern choreography on Yankee Doodle
