In memoriam:
Martin & Jacqueline ZANI, my godparents who met at a St John's Day dance party³ on June 24th, 1945 in Orleans, FR 45000. My godpa was 23, and a tank-destroyer ex-pilot re-assigned to logistic supports further to a bad wound. His was a Dean Martin's lookalike. His family came both from the region of Bergamo in Northern Italy. Godma was 21 years old girl from Orleans, FR.

Note ³
Dance parties are organized every year on St John's Day (June 24th) in all villages and cities of France bearing the name of Saint John the Baptist.

Although the French tradition of St John's Day public dance parties is rooted in Christianity, these parties are not religious celebrations. The only religious celebrations this day is the Saint John the Baptist Mass. However, I add this song in my Gospels & Hymns Playlist.
