"Blue Blues Bluesa Nova" is a trilogy of songs using the same lyrics I wrote.
I used 5 of my haikus — ultra-short verses to express a mood, a moment, a remembrance or a just a chant — to create a piece of lyrics of 5 verses.
Based on the resulting lyrics, the possible rythmics could be:
¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵ ⁶or
¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵ ⁶ ⁷ ⁸
⁴ and ⁸ = [silence]
Here's the lyrics:
LYRICS: OUR BLUE DREAMS
Haiku 1
One million years it seems
Haiku 2
Have gone by since we shared
Haiku 3
Our blue dreams [long silence]
Haiku 4
But I'll hold you again
Haiku 5
There won't be any sad days...
THREE SONGS FOR THE SAME LYRICS
My feelings were that the song(s) should reflect the untemporality invoked by the lyrics. Then I defined for each one of the songs I wished: the tempo, the bpm, the genre etc... in order to make three prompts for Gemini.
Then, my intention is to place the song in three successive period of time of the history of Chicago, since the end of the 19th Century until nowadays.
Prompt 1:
• period: at the beginning of the 20th Century (1890-20s)
• rythm : Waltz
• instruments: Grand Piano with orchestral intro
BLUE WALTZ LONGAGO
Prompt 2:
• period : Chicago Jazz/Blues... between (1920-60s)
• rythm : Blues
• instruments: 🎷🎹🎸🥁
BLUES DOWNTOWN CHI
Prompt 3:
• period: Chicagoan Blues (starting mid-60s)
• instruments: 🎷🎹🎸🥁
CHICAGO BLUESA NOVA
&... Now: Dance❣️
